Pucker up for primates and vote with your lips for Wild Futures!
Wild Futures is proud to have been selected this year as one of three charities to benefit from profits of The Body Shop’s Dragon Fruit Lip Butter product, which is on sale now in all Body Shop stores.
Wild Futures is the leading primate welfare charity in the UK which runs The Monkey Sanctuary in Looe, Cornwall. The Monkey Sanctuary is a rescue and rehabilitation centre for ex-pet monkeys and has seen a rise in demand for its specialist work over recent years. Wild Futures is working hard towards the day when all monkeys are free from the threat of the pet trade, mental, physical and emotional suffering.
The Dragon Fruit Lip Butter will be on sale all year with 75% of the year’s profits being split between the three charities. Between now and the 4th November, customers who purchase the Dragon Fruit Lip Butter can vote for their favourite charity. The charity with the most votes will receive a larger share of profits.
Wild Futures is urging supporters to purchase a Dragon Fruit Lip Butter and vote for the monkeys to help raise as much funds as possible to enable the charity to continue in its rescue and rehabilitation work.
Wild Futures’ fundraising team and volunteers will be carrying out promotional activities at Body Shop stores across the South West over the coming weeks.

We estimate that at least 5,000 monkeys are kept as pets in the UK and evidence shows that this is escalating. With such a vast number of monkeys being kept as pets in the UK,
our charity regularly receives requests to take on more monkeys and provide them with a home for life, some of which will live for up to 40 years. We are very grateful to be supported by The Body Shop because fundraising is vital for us to be able to continue in our work.”
